Meet Dr. Simmons
Hi, I’m Dr. Travis Simmons…
…a board-certified family physician with additional training in functional and integrative medicine. I practice primary care in New Braunfels, TX, where I’ve been caring for patients through the direct primary care model since 2022.
I was born in Texas, raised in northern New Mexico, and earned my biology degree at Texas A&M University (whoop!)—where I also met my amazing wife, Sarah. I went on to attend medical school at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, and from the very beginning, I knew I wanted to be a family doctor…
A Little About Direct Primary Care
How it works
DPC is a modern approach to primary care that puts patients and relationships first and is becoming popular across the country. Instead of billing insurance for each visit, we charge a flat, affordable monthly membership fee. This allows for longer visits, easier access to your doctor, and truly personalized care—without surprise bills or rushed appointments.
